A visit to Ghana in April 2026... 10 days packed with experiences and encounters, once again perfectly guided and organised by Jacob Tetteh.
The very next day after my arrival, we set off by car to the Eastern Region to visit two of our children who had moved there. I hadn’t seen them for several years due to the distance and was keen to find out how they were getting on.
As there were two days off school due to the end of Ramadan, these days were ideal.

Right at the beginning, the very good news is that we were able to find new sponsors (three) for additional children this year.
There are now 38 children and young people who are able to attend school. This increases their chances of finding qualified employment and allows them to later succeed in escaping the poor conditions in which they have to grow up.

Nachdem wir im letzten Jahr so viele Spenden bekommen haben, um den 10 jährigen Evans durch eine Operation von seinem Klumpfuß zu befreien, stand in diesem Jahr seine erfolgreiche Reha im Mittelpunkt unserer Vereinsarbeit.
Es ist uns ein wichtiges Anliegen, die Entwicklung unserer Kinder und Jugendlichen mit eigenen Augen zu sehen. Deshalb haben sich im Januar unsere Mitglieder Annegret und Gerd auf den Weg nach Ghana gemacht, um sich vor Ort über die Fortschritte des Projekts zu informieren.

Thanks to your cooperation and financial donations, this year again the number of children for whom our association can make it possible to go to school has increased.

We paid half of the tuition for Christopher, the older brother of Isabella and Theo, about 700 euros. He will graduate in June 2015. A letter from him is attached. The two learn well, but unfortunately Isabella has asthma and is often ill.
